Only a few more weeks until the NHL playoffs and in this final phase of the regular season, another Swiss player has made it into the roster of a NHL team. Dean Kukan has played his first game for his Columbus Blue Jackets and had to face Roman Josi and his Predators. More or less 10 games left in the regular season of the NHL. Unfortunately there is only one Swiss player, who is on playoff course at the moment. It is the defense man of Nashville, Roman Josi, who is placed on the first wild card spot. Josi and his Nashville Predators have a lead of eight points over the non-playoff ranks and can recon with a playoff participation for this season.… continue reading

Only around 12 games left in the regular season of the NHL and the Minnesota Wild and the Nashville Predators are on a wild card spot and are on playoff course! In the Eastern Confrence, Mark Streit and his Flyers are 2 points behind the wild card spot and still have the chance to reach the playoffs, if they manage to get some wins in the next few games. The regular season is over and the ZSC Lions have finished first with 97 points gained out of 50 games! Bern has managed to climb up to the last playoff spot and will play Zurich in the playoffs starting next Thursday. Davos has claimed the second place in the fight against Geneva and will meet Kloten in the quarter finals! Who will commence into the semi finals? Only one week remains until the playoffs and most teams are starting to prepare themselves for the playoffs or the playouts. Some teams are still in the fight for the last playoffs ranks and this fight will continue until the last day of this regular season, which will be next weekend. Who will get their playoff ticket?
