Nico Hischier, 17 years old and on the verge of becoming the next Top draft of the National Hockey League. He is currently playing his first season in North America with the Halifax Moosheads (same QMJHL team as Timo Meier last season) and has already scored 48 points for his team so far. Nino Niederreiter, Roman Josi and Mark Streit are already approaching 30 games that they have played for their NHL franchise. Some good efforts have already been seen by Streit, who is presenting himself in good fashion with already 15 scoring points added onto his account. The Swiss NHL rookie, Denis Malgin, had a great start into the new season with the Florida Panthers. With 4 goals and 4 assists scored he has made a mark and still has trust from his coaches. We have found a way to bring these efforts into one ranking and have ranked the Swiss according to their post season 15/16. Sven Andrighetto had his first start for the Montrtéal Canadiens last night against the L.A. Kings and got to play for around twelve minutes. He had two shots on goal and delieverd two hits against the Kings with an even +/- stat. A good effort by the Swiss considering his lack of practice with the Canadiens. But it isn’t his first game of the Season, the Swiss already had to play ten games for the St Johns IceCaps (AHL) and scored a total of eleven points.… continue reading
