More or less 10 games left in the regular season of the NHL. Unfortunately there is only one Swiss player, who is on playoff course at the moment. It is the defense man of Nashville, Roman Josi, who is placed on the first wild card spot. Josi and his Nashville Predators have a lead of eight points over the non-playoff ranks and can recon with a playoff participation for this season. Nino Niederreiter is one point behind the Colorado Avalanche, which are on the last Wild card spot, behind Nashville. The situation for Mark Streit and his Flyers in the Eastern conference is similar, as also his team is 3 points behind a Wild Card spot. But also for Streit and his Flyers there is still a lot possible!
