Back in Nashville

Only seven days left until the new NHL season is on its way into the history books. Roman Josi is starting his sixth season with Nashville and it will be his second year as the assistant captain of the Predators. The Swiss defence-man from Bern is on a path to be the second Swiss NHL captain, after Mark Streit (New York Islanders “C”). How has his his numbers changed over the last few years and what is to expect from the Swiss NHL star?

First of all we take a look at Josi’s scoring stats with the Predators over the past five years and we see his improvement over each year. The 26 year old defence-man is slowly reaching his zenith and we can still expect an improvement in Josi’s scoring total of 66 points from last year! We @swisshockeytrolls expect him to reach his scoring zenith within the next two seasons and he will continue to emerge to one of the NHL’s elite defence-men currently playing in the best league of the world. This should make us proud, having one of us playing for an NHL team with good chances to be the new captain over the next few years. Roman Josi, we wish you good luck for your new season and hope that you will stay well!
